Happy Retirement

Hi everyone! I wanted to share this retirement card I made using the new Aviary stamp set. I stamped three of the birdcages in Early Espresso ink and then stamped the tallest one separately so I could cut it out and pop it up on Dimensionals. I then layered it onto Blushing Bride and Peach Parfait card stock and then added a piece of Pear Pizazz ribbon. Then all of that was added onto an Early Espresso card base. I stamped one of the birds outside of its cage, like it was free, to go with the whole retirement thing, lol. I added some hearts coming from the free bird and the Happy Retirement sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I then finished it off with some faux stitching.

Cute by the inch!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a card with you that I made using Cute by the Inch, which is a Level 2 Hostess Set in the new catalog. The card base is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4". I love square cards, but they cost more to mail if mailed in a square envelope. That's why I like to make them 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" so they still fit into a regular A2 sized envelope, but don't cost any extra to send. I stamped the base with the Wood Grain Background Stamp and then stamped the top layer lightly with the En Francais Background Stamp. After I stamped the images I wanted, I cut them out by hand with a pair of scissors and arranged them on the card front along with 3 buttons. I also stamped a few of the images twice and then cut out some accents to pop up with Dimensionals for some added interest.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share a card I made for my new downline. I used the Rough Type Alpha for the letters and circles around the letters and then punched them out with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch for the scallops at the bottom. For the flowers I used the XL Fancy Flower Punch and the Boho Blossoms Punch. I finished it off with some inking around the letters, flowers, and card base along with some faux stitching. Thanks for looking! :)

Stampin' Up! Sweet Treat Cups card - trap door tutorial!

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a while since my last video.
I used the new Stampin' Up! Sweet Treat cups for this card, but added a trap door to the back. That way you don't have to tear the card apart to get what's inside, and it's also refillable.

Cricut Wild Card Scallop Card

This card is for the #12 SPCC color challenge.
In this video I used the Cricut Wild Cart cartridge to make a scalloped circle card base, the big circle that I layered on top, and the word "hi" was cut with Plantin Schoolbook. I also used my NEW Prima Flowers!!! I love those things, can't believe I didn't get any earlier!

Marker Club!!!

Since my first marker club is going great and the ladies in it are enjoying it, I thought I'd start another one. Same everything as my last one!
I really do love these markers because you can use them to color in a stamped image or color directly on the stamp! :)

This club will last for 4 months. Each month you will receive 1 set of 12 markers from one of the color families. The color families are Bold Brights, Earth Elements, Rich Regals, and Soft Subtles (they won't necessarily be in that order).

The total cost is $50.00 each month for 4 months.

Cricut Home Decor card!

I just got the Cricut Home Decor cartridge a few days ago so I decided to make a card! I just love that little bird, he's too cute!
The bird and the branches are from Home Decor, the little colored flowers are from the Stampin' Up! Trio Flower punch. The background flowers are stamped in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I used the stamp set Forest Friends for the deer and the tree, and Trendy Trees for the "Thinking of You" sentiment.

I placed my first big order from the new catalog! It took me forever to get my "wish list" down to a reasonable amount. Seems like I didn't want to cross out anything on my list, lol. I can't wait to get it! I also was able to fill a marker club, and I put the first club order in too!!! Part of me really wanted to pay the extra $20 for 2 day shipping...but I was able talk myself out of it. That $20 can go towards something else. Stampin' Up! is also doing a deal of the week promotion for the whole month of July. Soooo....I couldn't pass up the first week's deal, so that was in with my order too. :-D

I'm hoping to make a video when it all comes! Wooohoooo!
